Dear fellow PostDocs,
In October 2016 the SUTD PostDoc Society was inaugurated and a Committee was formed to steer its activities.
The aims of the PostDoc Society are to:
- Foster a sense of community among PostDocs through networking activities;
- Create a platform for exchange of ideas and collaboration within SUTD and beyond;
- Create a unified voice for interaction with management and administration;
- Organize career development workshops and events.
Over the past year we have organised social events, hosted research seminars and met with SUTD management to achieve our aims.
Now, it is time to recapitulate those efforts and move forward by forming a new PostDoc Committee.
We invite you to the 2017 PostDoc Society Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on
Friday, December 15th, 2017 at 5pm (venue TBA),
followed by a free BBQ between building 5 and housing block 51.

During the AGM, the current PostDoc Committee will give a summary of its activities over the last year, questions and concerns can be discussed, and a new committee is to be formed.
Therefore, it is essential to find new volunteers for the PostDoc Committee and we encourage you to become a member and make a difference for yourself, your peers and future SUTD PostDocs.
